Truffles & Gourmet
Two Michelin-tier restaurants walking distance, the Alba white-truffle fair, and a bio-certified winery on the property.
Cà d’Massëu sits in the middle of one of Italy’s densest gourmet landscapes: white truffles from Alba, Barolo and Barbaresco at the door, Barbera from Nizza Monferrato down in the valley, and organic-certified viticulture right beside the house.
Restaurants within reach
A selection of the addresses we know — stars change yearly and are verified before arrival; we’re glad to book ahead, especially in truffle season (October to December), when a table is often taken several days in advance.
- Ristorante Violetta — Michelin-recommended, 300 m, classic Piedmont within walking distance.
- Del Belbo da Bardon — one Michelin star, 400 m, a long Piedmontese tradition just down in the Belbo valley.
- San Marco, Canelli — three Michelin stars, 4 km, one of the great houses of the region, a short drive away.
White-truffle season (October–December)
The International Truffle Fair in Alba opens each year in early October and runs into early December. The town becomes one continuous market — tastings, auctions, top restaurants at full frequency. We’re happy to help with bookings and to plan trips around the truffle weeks.
On the farm itself
- Organic-certified winery with its own vineyards.
- Orchard and pergola for meals taken outside together.
- Communal kitchen on the ground floor under a brick vault — where the whole group cooks together.
